Create a Private Team

What is a Private Team?

A Private Team is set up by an Operator, so they can offer their services to private users. The Operator has access to manage the Team and provider service to the charge points and the private user gets to use Monta to charge.

By default, charge points added in Private Teams are not paid. This may vary, depending on your Monta agreement.

Who is this Team for?

This Team is meant for private users, who want to use Monta to charge.

For example, if you are an Operator that wants to offer their services to private EV drivers with a charge point, you can create this Private Team for them and apply a service subscription.

What functionalities does this Team have?

A Private Team has a Basic plan by default.

Create a Private Team

1. Go to the Teams section on the left-side menu
2. Click on +Add new
3. Select Private Team
4. Give the Team a name, fill in a contact email
   • That should be name of the private user that is going to use the Team
5. Select a tag that represents the type of Team
   • We recommend selecting the tag Home
6. Fill in the address of the Team
   • This should be the address of the private user
7. Click on Done
8. Use the search bar to find the Team

Next steps

After creating the Private Team, here is what we recommend to do next:

• Invite the private user to the Team
• Add and/ or connect the charge point of the user
• Apply a custom or tax refund subscription, based on the service you want to provider the user.
